FURNWARE

Furnware is an established New Zealand brand with a growing global presence, known for creating innovative furniture designed around the way students learn, move and interact. As the business had evolved, there was an opportunity for the brand to evolve alongside it, building on the recognition and equity already established while creating a more cohesive and contemporary identity for its next stage of growth.

The project began with a review of the existing brand, looking closely at what was working well, what should be retained, and where the visual identity could be strengthened to better support Furnware's internal marketing team across an increasing range of applications.

Rather than reinventing the brand, the approach was one of considered refinement. Furnware's iconic teal remained at the heart of the identity, while the logo was carefully refined and the colour palette expanded to create a more flexible and distinctive visual system. Typography, graphic elements, imagery and photographic direction were developed to work together consistently, giving the marketing team a stronger toolkit to draw from.

The refreshed identity was then brought to life across the wider Furnware brand experience, from business cards, publications and marketing collateral through to exhibition material, digital applications and a completely refreshed website look and feel.

The result is a more confident and cohesive Furnware brand that retains the familiarity of what came before while better reflecting the scale, quality and global presence of the business today. Most importantly, the refresh provides the internal team with a practical and flexible brand system designed to grow with Furnware into the future.
